We feel compelled to explain why:

Recently, we at A.C.E.S. discovered a parent of one of our team members has been diagnosed with a terminal illness, and are unsure of the life expectancy.  

Unconventional of most organizations, we made the decision to dedicate two months of our time to show support as a family to him and his family.  

We realize the financial implications, however, money can be re-gained; The life of a loved one can not.
